C&C Artists support art auction fundraiser for EACH

As you will be aware the arts have been severely hit during the frequent lockdowns we have experienced this year as a result of the pandemic. Unfortunately theatres continue to remain dark and museums and galleries closed just at the moment people need to be taken elsewhere in their thoughts. So it is very much appreciated that a small selection of East Anglian artists, many of whom we currently work with, have chosen this moment to reveal their altruistic side and donate their artwork in support of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH), in aid of a fundraising auction for an art therapy program.

The first part of Port-2-Port focused on the historic, medieval ports of Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn has opened showing the so called "Yarmouth Five". This comes hot on the heels of being shown at Houghton Hall during the Summer in our POPUP and draws attention to their shared cultural strengths, exchanging works from one port to another and connecting them visually.

CAPTURING THE LIVELY LANDSCAPES OF URBAN GREAT YARMOUTH

KATARZYNA COLEMAN'S landscapes are given extra weight by the physical absence of people in them. But their impact on her industrial landscapes is so present in these moody canvases. Katarzyna Coleman is from London and studied at Hornsey College of Art (1979-1982, followed by an MA in Fine Art at Manchester College of Art (1982-1983). Her work explores industrial & urban landscapes, predominantly the unarranged landscape near her studio in the harbour area of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
