Creative Moves in 2021

Creative Moves in 2021

We are delighted to continue to work with a selection of established and new artists and makers in 2021. We are also working hard in reaching out to new creative talent from our area, east of England. Some are struggling to keep up their practice under the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions but many are working on creative expressions of hope.

The Art of Roller Skating

Norfolk based photographic artist Debby Besford has been working for the past five years on a project documenting female champion artistic roller skaters. As a teenager Debby herself was photographed in her home in Great Yarmouth by her proud parents posing with her skates and trophies in hand. This project remains close to her own heart.

OUR LATEST DAY TRIP TO YARMOUTH

OUR LATEST DAY TRIP TO YARMOUTH

We were excited to receive an invitation to view newly installed works by painter Brüer Tidman, photographic artist Mark Cantor and sculptor Andy Sloan. It was an ideal morning for our visit - or so we thought... nearly 1,500 bikers (of every denomination!) made their way down the Acle Straight into a drizzle soaked Great Yarmouth along with us. Our efforts were to be rewarded in abundance however... not only an authentic Portuguese custard  tart and more than descent coffee on King Street but a wonderful exhibition awaited us
